We're a full-time wedding services company, dedicated to one job: Creating and capturing unforgettably fun, personalized wedding day celebrations.

It's important to note that we do not take on every inquiry. While we so appreciate all of the wonderful venues, photographers, planners and other wedding professionals who refer us, in order to provide the high standard of service that we offer, for most dates, we do just one wedding per date. It's important to us that we're a good match.

There is no second chance to get it right on your wedding day.

​​​THE MUSIC
Unlike most "wedding DJs", we never use a cheesy, cookie-cutter wedding playlist. With Select Receptions, you can expect personalized music selections built upon your requests, made in your own online planning portal. We're experts at reading the crowd, and we're famous for packed dance-floors.

Unless you specifically request songs like the YMCA, The Electric Slide etc., we automatically place those and similar music in the do-not-play category. Since these are songs that people either LOVE or HATE, I defer to my client's tastes on them.
Your wedding reception should be remembered as FUN, and uniquely you. To bring your vision to life, I'm available for as much planning as is needed. Consult with me personally anytime.

THE MICROPHONE / ANNOUNCEMENTS
Our philosophy on MCing and making announcements at your wedding is summed up in one word: Purpose. If there isn't a specific reason to inform your guests of something important, we won't be on the microphone interrupting the fun. You obviously want someone well-spoken and confident for important announcements like introductions, toasts etc.- but the role of MC, is to facilitate the moment, then let it breathe. We don't do the cheesy game-show host schtick. We're all about tasteful announcements and a packed dance-floor. Your guests didn't come to your wedding to see the DJ or MC!

THE TEAM
The importance of having a team vs a single DJ cannot be overstated. You should never need to worry about a DJ getting sick before your wedding. It's no time to roll the dice. Our team is comprised of 3 DJs, each with over a decade of wedding experience. Your DJ will have full access to your Online Planning Tools to review your detailed preferences, and will attend your final planning meeting. You can rest assured that your wishes will be carried out by a trusted professional.
